African Rural Schools Foundation Goes on the Radio!
Every
Sunday evening at 7pm in Uganda, Hanan and his friend Moses host a 30
minute radio program that goes out to about 2 million listeners! It
airs on a family-oriented Christian radio station based in Kampala.
This was Hanan’s idea, as a way of promoting the school. The program
was first called “Every Child Deserves an Education” but
he changed the name to “Thinking” so that he could expand
the topic to include leadership pointers and other subjects that the
listeners might be interested in. It is also a call-in show where listeners
can make comments and get questions answered on the air.
On Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010 Hanan and three Americans (Mzungus) Rev. Waun,
Del Rodrigquez and Bob Rodgers were guests on the show and had a great
time.
