NEW LEADERSHIP AT NEW ABC DIVINE FOUNDATION SCHOOL!
STAFF:
 |
Mr. David Nganda, the new Executive Director
of African Rural Schools Foundation USA and the New ABC Divine Foundation
School. David has been a teacher all his life and most recently
has been the Headmaster of the NEW ABC Divine Foundation School.
His passion is helping children to learn and grow, and the students
thrive under his guidance.
We are privileged that Uncle David is at the helm as we enter into
this time of expansion and international visibility. |
Mr. John Kayemba was appointed our Liaison Officer in August, 2011 when Evelyn Nankanja, his predecessor was accepted in the Graduate School of Public Health in Pittsburgh, PA. Because of his unique qualifications and excellent language skills, John was hand picked by Evelyn before she left Uganda. John's job is to stay in regular communication with the stateside team, as we develop new projects and grow the school. Here are photos of John receiving the liaison materials from Evelyn on his first day of work, and of John being greeted by Executive Director David Nganda.

Ms. Mary Kisinde is our first paid nurse who started her work on October 1, 2011 and will staff the school clinic part time. She will be able to treat common ailments such as flu, as well as more serious illnesses such as malaria. She has a refrigerator and a lab quality microscope in the clinic for her use, and is supervised by a local physician |
| This student is holding one of the microscopes generously donated to the school by the University of Pittsburgh, Greensburg, PA. |

VOLUNTEERS:
| Mr. Ssebunya Kizza, our new volunteer partner
in connecting us with health providing networks in Uganda. Ssebunya
works for the Miriam Foundation and has had vast experience with
Non-governmental Organizations and governmental agencies. We are
fortunate to have him on board! |
 |
We earnestly believe that with this tremendous team, along with others
who are getting involved from all over the world, we will continue to
expand and provide the many educational opportunities that are so essential
in Uganda.
Thank you all for your kind support!
